Picture from the <em>What’s Next for Schools?</em> exhibition

The Sorrell Foundation Young Design Centre, at Somerset House, provides a base for the workshops and events that are central to the Foundation’s programmes. Since opening in 2007 the centre has been visited by over 10,000 pupils from around 350 schools across England.

The centre engages young people on issues of design, showing how it impacts on their lives.

In autumn 2010, a new exhibition will open in the Young Design Centre, exploring how design affects young people, both in and out of school.
